TMD-548 - Ground support tower

The TMD-548 is a high quality ground support tower designed for professional use in stage construction and sound installations. With a maximum height of 10 meters and a load capacity of 2000 kg, this tower offers a robust and safe solution for heavy lifting. Its advanced safety systems and compact design make it an ideal choice for large events.

• Safety system: Equipped with a specially designed Zip/Trigger safety system that uses welded metal plates on the mast sections to automatically lock the load in case of cable breakage, preventing falls and ensuring maximum safety.
• Mast sections: Consists of five reinforced square truss sections (400 x 400 x 4 mm) made of aluminum (EN-AW 6082 T6) with double-stepped design and internal bracing to resist bending and deformation. The sections are joined together with the UTR-05 coupling system for quick and safe assembly.
• Lifting process: Designed for use with an electric winch (not included). The tower can be mounted horizontally and raised/lowered manually or with the BC-TMD Tower Lifting System (sold separately) for easy and safe handling.
• Sleeve Block: Equipped with a three-sided aluminum sleeve block (EN-AW 6082 T6) with sixteen reinforced rollers for smooth movement. Designed for the TS520 Supertruss series, with the possibility to customize for other truss types (contact technical department).
• Base: Robust aluminum base (726 x 726 mm, EN-AW 6082 T6) with four flywheels (Ø100 mm) and telescopic outriggers with adjustable feet for stability on all surfaces.
• Compact Design: Folded dimensions of 726 x 726 x 1440 mm make the tower easy to transport and store.
