Flexi-12

As a special feature, all Flexi speakers have an asymmetrical, rotatable horn with a 5° downward tilting axis of dispersion. At close range, the horn radiates horizontally with 100° dispersion, which is particularly wide, and at a distance the angle narrows to 50°. The energy distribution in the audience area becomes more even. The 50° horizontal narrowing concentrates the sound energy at a distance. This focusing and the 5° downward tilt of the beam axis also improves the transmission quality, as more direct sound reaches the listener and unwanted diffuse sound caused by room reflections is reduced.

When used as a stage monitor, the performer can still move very close to Flexi without leaving the beam angle. If he stands further away, the sound does not change. The dual tilt mount allows the speaker to be tilted in 0° and 5° positions.

For aerial or tripod use, as well as mounting in installations, various thread points, swivel mounts, wall and mast mounts are available. A Safety-Point allows a single bracket with safety rope to be clicked into place for the required secondary protection.
