Alea-5

The aesthetic design of the compact Voice-Acoustic Alea-5 speaker captivates with its high efficiency and linear frequency response, all packed into the smallest box dimensions. It is perfectly suited for various sound reinforcement applications, such as main or fill systems. Its compact appearance allows it to be integrated into almost any stage setup. The stable swivel mount ensures precise alignment toward the listening area and a secure placement on stage or in permanent ceiling mounting.

The 5"/1" coaxial driver has an extremely wide dispersion of 100° horizontally and vertically. This makes the Alea-5 ideal for applications where a broad area needs to be covered at short distances. Voice reproduction is rich even without subwoofer support. Alea-5 is a fully passive speaker with 8 Ohm impedance and can be driven by any amplifier, even without DSP controllers.

For permanent installations, the Alea-5 can be mounted on walls or ceilings with the swivel mount and expertly aligned. There is also a sleek hidden mounting option without the mount. The rear cover plate of the speaker is recessed into the box, providing space behind it for wall mounting and Phoenix connection terminals. The speakers can be mounted on a small wall-mounted corner plate and secured with an unobtrusive screw.

The box housing covers the mount, and none of the mechanical parts or the mount are visible. This mounting option is also possible for ceiling installations, making it ideal for setups like Dolby Atmos installations.

Creative designers can fully exploit artistic elements. The speakers are not only available in all RAL and effect colors but are also offered in custom multicolor designs – two or three colors (as per customer’s request). The plywood enclosure, honeycomb-patterned front grille, and the decorative stainless-steel ring on the baffle board can be ordered in different colors. Gold and chrome plating are also available for the grille and ring – the ring can even be enhanced with certified Swarovski crystals. Stylish custom requests or corporate identity designs can even be delivered with short lead times.

Connection is achieved with two Neutrik Speakon connectors in addition to a parallel 4-pin Phoenix contact terminal.

For long-term outdoor installation, the speakers can be connected via the Phoenix contact terminal and permanently sealed from the back with a cover plate (only possible with clip mount, not flush mount).

This combination of technical and creative possibilities gives the Alea-5 its image as a professional and versatile mini-sound system. Adding a subwoofer will elevate it to a compact and lightweight Mini-PA.
