Product Information

The Voice-Acoustic CXN-12 is a high-performance, passive 2-way stage monitor with a 12"/1.4" coaxial neodymium driver and 80° conical dispersion. With its compact and elegantly rounded low-profile enclosure, the CXN-12 is ideal for live performance and demanding TV and gala productions.

It delivers neutral balance, high feedback resistance and first-class transparency, giving performers clear feedback with precise intonation. A powerful fundamental sound and distortion-free high frequencies make the monitor comfortable to work with even during longer performances. The CXN-12 responds very well to EQ adjustments, making it easy for engineers to emphasize voices and instruments.

With a width of 37 cm, height of 30 cm and weight of only 14 kg, this is the smallest and lightest floor monitor in its class. The central handle and recessed side handles make it easy to carry with one hand. The robust construction with 2 mm steel grating, recessed tilt-down switch panel and protected connections ensure long durability and safe use on stage.

The bass reflex ports are placed on an angled side, increasing efficiency and protecting against rain. The CXN-12 can be easily combined with the Paveosub-115 and offers flexible mounting options with Easyfly, safety point and optional U-bracket.

Like all Voice-Acoustic speakers, the enclosure is built from heavy birch plywood, CNC-milled, waterproof glued and finished with a durable polyurea coating. Available in black, white or custom colors.

Control

The CXN-12 is a passive bass reflex speaker with an impedance of 8 Ω. The internal passive crossover separates only the frequency range, while linearization is done via DSP filters. It is driven on one channel by a Voice-Acoustic HDSP system amplifier or via a self-powered subwoofer.
