Description
The CXN-16 is a multifunctional bi-amping high performance monitor with 4 x 8"/1 x 1.4" drivers. The rounded low-profile design makes it discreet and elegant in any environment, while delivering outstanding performance on both small and large stages.
With quad-eight technology and a large horn, the CXN-16 achieves better directivity than conventional coaxial monitors. Four separate 2.5" bass voice coils and a 3" horn driver provide efficient heat dissipation and minimal power compression, allowing amplifier power to be used more efficiently.
The symmetrical speaker placement creates a stable sound field that does not change as the performer moves. A large 1.4" low-distortion horn provides high clarity and precise directionality, while the 4 x 8" design extends control even at low frequencies.
The CXN-16 has the same width as the Paveosub-118 and can be combined both visually and mechanically for drum or DJ monitoring. The robust 2 mm steel grille with welded reinforcements provides long durability, and features such as cable tunnel, tilt pole socket and Easyfly mechanism make handling easy.
With its professional design, the CXN-16 provides performers with accurate response, well-balanced sound quality and maximum gain-before-feedback - a new standard for monitors.
Control
The CXN-16 is driven in bi-amping on two channels by the HDSP-6 or HDSP-4. High power mode: 2,400 W + 800 W / 4 Ω. Half-power mode: 800 W + 800 W / 4 Ω. Impedance: LF 8 Ω, HF 16 Ω. It can also be driven in half-power mode via Voice-Acoustic self-powered subwoofer.
