Voice-Acoustic Score-5 - Compact and powerful 2-way loudspeaker for versatile use

Score-5 is a passive 2-way system with two 5" drivers in D'Appolito configuration and a 1" ferrite compression driver. The passive crossover is phase optimized and fully equalized, allowing the speaker to be used with any amplifier.

It operates as a full-range system and is well suited for both speech and background music without the need for a subwoofer. When combined with a subwoofer, it forms an elegant and powerful PA system.

With a controlled dispersion pattern of 70° x 55°, Score-5 provides clear sound reproduction even at longer distances. Thanks to the D'Appolito arrangement and acoustic coupling between the elements, vertical control is maintained even in the lower midrange.

Score-5 is an excellent choice for near-field applications on stages, in wall panels or stairwells thanks to its slim design (only 172 mm wide). The built-in 25° and 55° angles allow the speaker to be easily used as a monitor.

Flexible mounting and smart design

The multifunction bracket mounts easily and tool-free with Camlock locks, horizontally or vertically. The speaker can be angled on a stand or mounted directly in the truss without modification. A click-lock security bracket is located on the back for added security.

Score-5 also features M6 and M8 mounting points for wall and truss mounting, as well as a discreet handle on the back for easy handling.

Control

Score-5 is a fully passive speaker with 12 Ω impedance and can be driven by any amplifier, even without a DSP controller. An amplifier output with a minimum 4 Ω load can drive up to 3 Score-5s, and a 2 Ω output can drive up to 6 units.

For optimal reliability and dependability, Voice-Acoustic amplifiers or Voice-Acoustic active systems are recommended. One channel can drive up to 3 Score-5s.
