Voice-Acoustic Score-8 - Compact 2-way speaker with powerful performance and exceptional sound quality

The Score-8 is a passive 2-way system with two 8" drivers in D'Appolito configuration and a 1.4" compression driver coupled to a rotatable horn (60° x 40° or 90° x 40°). It combines high efficiency with a clear direct sound that delivers excellent range and speech intelligibility.

With its horn-loaded midrange and a newly developed neodymium tweeter with composite diaphragm, the Score-8 offers a warm, natural and precise sound image - even at high sound pressures. The mechanical time adjustment between bass and treble also provides an optimal phase response in the crossover region.

The speaker is suitable for both mobile and fixed installations, and works perfectly without a separate subwoofer for speech and background music. Monitor mode is possible thanks to built-in angles of 25° and 55° - and the slim format also makes it ideal as a front fill speaker on stages.

Smart design with integrated tiltable flange, tool-free Easyfly suspension and a wide range of accessories make Score-8 extremely versatile. Multiple brackets (U, C, L brackets) and M10, M8 and M6 attachments provide endless mounting possibilities. A safety wire can be attached to the stainless steel V2A input bracket.

Robust and durable construction

The cabinet is made of high-quality birch plywood, CNC-milled, tongued, glued and screwed for maximum durability. The surface is covered with moisture-protective and durable polyurea coating in black (RAL 9005). White finish or special colors with 2K texture paint are available as options.

Control

Score-8 is a passive bass reflex loudspeaker with 4 Ω impedance. The internal passive crossover separates only the frequency range - all linearization is done via DSP filters. It should only be used in conjunction with a channel from a Voice-Acoustic amplifier or an active subwoofer.
