Voice-Acoustic Paveosub-118 - Powerful 18-inch bass reflex subwoofer for flexible use

The Paveosub-118 is a lightweight, heavily vented bass reflex subwoofer for mobile use and fixed installations. With a premium 18-inch neodymium driver, it delivers loud and distortion-free bass from a compact format.

The low moving mass and powerful drive unit (B/L factor of 28) provide fast and accurate signal reproduction with excellent attack and roll-off - sonically superior to many other 18-inch models.

The driver features a powerful 4-inch voice coil, advanced ventilation and lower power compression than conventional bass drivers. The power output is used efficiently and the subwoofer maintains its performance even when operating continuously at full power.

Four corner-placed bass reflex ducts create a chimney effect for efficient heat dissipation. The tunnel cross-section corresponds to 500 cm² - about 43% of the membrane surface area - resulting in lower distortion and higher efficiency. The large open ports prevent air noise, and the corner placement reduces vibrations thanks to even back pressure from all sides. The design also provides reinforced walls and internal bracing for stability and resonance-free performance. Rubber feet and stacking grooves ensure stable stacking without slipping.

In addition to rear connections, two Speakon connectors are located in the front grille - handy for under-stage placement or cardioid bass arrangements. All connections are protected against moisture with weatherproof enclosures.

Two certified fixing lugs are recessed on the sides for secure load anchoring. At the top is an integrated M20 tripod bracket. Paveosub-118 can also be converted to an active version with power module and DSP card from the factory.
