Description of the cable

4 STAR CATBOX (5-pin)

With our 4 STAR SERIES professional XLR-via-Cat adapters, you can now utilize the four wire pairs and shield in a single shielded network cable instead of using a heavy 4-channel multicore. This saves space and greatly simplifies cabling for both live events and fixed installations.

The device can be used with a standard RJ45 cable or a network cable equipped with lockable etherCON® connectors for a secure connection. Being wired according to AES72 scheme 5E, it is fully compatible with all other Adam Hall CATBOX products, as well as other boxes on the market that follow the same industry standard.

The 5-pin connectors are completely black and clearly numbered, making it easy to quickly identify the correct channel. CATBOX products are also available in several other versions to cover all your connectivity needs.
